record your game play

I was watchin some of the last uploads and i was wondering:

Why nearly every video is recorded with the ingame random cam?

Imo the whole video has to show the player (if he is alive ingame) and not his teammates...

Can we care about this for the future?

What do you guys think of this... ? =)

That sounds fine by me. The above videos were automatically created by a third party service. Future videos will not be accepted unless rendered by the player themselves.

Imo it's fine if a user capture the demo "later" with GOTV and player cam only?

(Some people don't have enough powerfull systems to capture their gameplay live)

Yes that is fine. Players have the option of recording their game play as a demo file then rendering it to video whenever they wish.

I didnt know about that and deleted the files already ... will do so in future tho.

Would be nice if that ones would be accepted. Lost already like 100 due to formating hdd and forgot to move them some time ago =/

That actually means everyone would have to watch his own demo while rendering, otherwhise u see dead body on floor when hes dead for rest of the round.

That takes much time + the computing power problem (didnt test how long it takes yet tho)

Basically I dont know if people would still do it then for 30 cents ... just saying, not complaining
